If one takes a look at the health benefits that fitness home gyms can offer then yes they are certainly worth the money. If they are just going to sit and gather dust then its money wasted. Unfortunately, many people start with good intentions and will start by purchasing a fitness rowing machine. They begin to feel the benefits within a few short days. All of a sudden, they spot on sale a Nordic track treadmill and this is the next piece of equipment added to the home gym. Then to complete the package add the fitness steppers.  By this time, the individual has a good set of exercise equipment.

This well stocked fitness home gym is the favorite place of the home for a few weeks and then all of a sudden the interest begins to wear off. Perhaps the nice weather has arrived, or schedules have changed. The home gym now becomes dormant, unloved and unused. This is unfortunate in that the benefits that these few pieces of equipment can afford are most beneficial for the individual. Then one has to look at the amount of investment money even if some of the items were second hand or on sale. There is a lot to be lost when this happens not just in money but in benefits as well. Hopefully this will not happen to you with your home gym. Try to set yourself a consistent exercise schedule and you are more apt to stay with it and fully enjoy it.
