This is a wonderful memory about an awesome couple I met who had one of those signs in life that definitely let you know that the human spirit is real. I’ll endeavor to keep it short, noticing that I don’t have a lot of space to relate in.
So, the story goes that my friends got up to initiate there day,just like everybody else. Coffee brewing, toast toasting, clothes going on and somewhat in a hurry going out the door. A few last minute hurries for the keys, the wallet and the purse, and out the door they go. Janet alludes to having that bothersome moment that she was forgetting something, but similar to the rest of us, it just never becomes obvious enough to put a finger on.
So into the metropolis and a long day ahead. A lot on there brains, when after there already completely in town, and pulling into the parking lot, and Janet asks Ron, do you smell fumes, or something burning? No. Hmm, Ron your gonna be mad at me, but I didn’t remember the main outline for the class, we have to go back home. What! Are you serious?
Yep, I’m sorry sweetie, but I have to have that. Alright. So there headed back home when, as there getting about two or three miles away, they notice fire trucks in the distance, instantly Janet says, hun we should have bought those flameless led candles. What? I’ll bet that is our house on fire. We should have purchased those scented flameless candles. Are you serious? Yep, it is our house. The flameless candles are in the rear of the car, I bought them last week.
